The work carried out

The problem

A decorative exposed polished concrete flooring system needed to be installed on a clean, consolidated and dry surface.

The solution

On a consolidated, clean and dry polished surface, apply Byopox

CS1: Start working with CS1 using the dry method. If the floor is in poor condition, we suggest starting with CS0. This step is very important for achieving the best result. We suggest polishing as uniformly as possible to obtain a uniform colour.

CS2: proceed with CS2 using the dry method.

NOTE: We recommend working with CS1 and CS2 using the dry method.

HARD CONCRETE: for very hard concrete, we suggest the CD series of metal-bond discs using the wet method. When working with water, the diamonds cut faster, but the slurry must be removed. If you cannot work with water, you can use AKTIVATOR 1, which helps reactivate the metal-bond discs so they cut better.

SOFT/ABRASIVE CONCRETE: we suggest the CF series of metal-bond discs.

JUMPER GREEN CK3: use the wet method to remove the deeper scratches left by CS2. Vacuum up the slurry thoroughly with a good wet vacuum cleaner.

JUMPER GREEN CK4, CK5 use the dry method.
