This policy covers browsing and enquiries addressed to BYOND. Contracts for works, supplies or other services may require additional information specific to that relationship.

Data we use

When you contact us, we use your name, email address and enquiry. The form also allows you to provide your surname, telephone number and subject as optional fields. Required fields are necessary to handle your enquiry; without them, we cannot use that channel to respond.

The information comes from what you provide. Include only information relevant to your request. Avoid sending sensitive data, identity documents or unnecessary information about other people.

The website infrastructure may process technical connection and error data, such as IP address, requested path, access time and browser information, to deliver and protect the service.

Purposes and legal bases

Information and quotation requests. Where you ask us to take steps before a possible contract with you, we process the necessary data to handle your request and prepare a proposal under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Other enquiries and professional contact. Our legitimate interest in responding to communications you address to us and maintaining a professional relationship supports the processing strictly necessary for that purpose under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may object on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Operation and security. Technical data needed to prevent abuse, resolve faults and keep the service available is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting the website and its users. Processing required by law relies on the relevant legal obligation.

Contacting BYOND does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorise advertising campaigns. This website does not make automated decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.

How contact works

When direct sending is unavailable, the form lets you prepare an email to info@byond.es or copy its content. Preparing or copying it does not send it to BYOND or save the enquiry in a database on this website. You must send it from your email application for us to receive it. Browsing may generate technical logs independently of sending a message.

If direct sending is enabled, the form submits the data needed to deliver the enquiry to the corporate mailbox. The website does not maintain a customer enquiry archive. Once received, the communication is handled in the company’s systems under the retention criteria below.

Retention

We retain enquiries for as long as needed to answer them and carry out follow-up arising from your request. Once that purpose ends, the data is deleted, except for information that must remain restricted or blocked to meet legal obligations or address potential liabilities during the applicable periods. If a contract is formed, the necessary documentation becomes part of its specific administration.

Technical data is processed to deliver the connection, resolve incidents and prevent abuse. Retention depends on the need to address the incident or technical purpose and the infrastructure service’s terms. Where evidence of an incident or claim is retained, access is limited to that purpose.

Providers

We use Lovable to host and distribute this website and Google’s email services to manage corporate communications. These providers may access the data needed to provide their services. Data may also be disclosed to authorities where required by law.

International data processing

The infrastructure of these services may involve processing or access to data outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. No guarantee is offered that hosting is exclusively in Spain or the European Union.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where applicable by emailing info@byond.es or writing to the postal address above. Explain your request. We will ask for additional identity information only where necessary. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing.

We will handle your request within the statutory one-month period. If complexity or the number of requests justifies an extension, we will inform you within that first month. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es or another competent supervisory authority.

If you visit YouTube, social networks or other websites, their operators apply their own policies. Changes to this policy will be published here. Where required, we will inform you about new purposes before using your data for them.
