Waterproofing

We waterproof roofs and other surfaces exposed to water in the Canary Islands. We assess the substrate and critical details to plan preparation, system selection and application.

Waterproofing

Roofs and exposed surfaces

Before choosing a membrane we assess how water reaches the surface and how the roof is used. The existing substrate and its condition help define preparation and the required intervention.

Details matter too

Joints, junctions, drains and other critical details are addressed within the complete system. A surface application does not replace the assessment of these details or the repair of damaged areas.

System and service conditions

Exposure and subsequent use determine the choice and finish. The linked projects identify their membranes and preparation work; specifying another roof requires checking the documentation and substrate.

Application options

Roof systems
Byotermic and Zoruflex Imper have documented roof applications. Each reference identifies the system used.
Preparation and details
At Sushican, the substrate was prepared, damaged areas were repaired and joints and critical details were reinforced before applying the BYOTHERMIC W2 membrane.
