Las Palmas Cruise Terminal
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Seamless surfacing follows the terminal’s outdoor pedestrian route, between palm trees, benches and entrances.
View projectThis project was promoted by the European Fund. The purpose of the project was to refurbish the INFECAR exhibition grounds.
The surfacing specified for the project was exposed-aggregate concrete. One of the problems with this type of surfacing is that it requires expansion joints, which significantly affect its appearance.
The solution proposed to the architect in charge of the project, Mr Pedro Romera, was to apply the seamless Zoruflex® system, which allowed us to create a completely seamless surface without any joints. This type of surfacing enabled us to explore the aesthetics of the space, as the aggregate and colour offer endless possibilities.
