The work carried out
Installation of seamless flooring with certified resistance to vehicular traffic in a new-build project.
The problem
As this was a new-build project, there were no defects to report, simply a series of requirements specified by the project supervision team:
- Durable.
- Easy to clean.
- Decorative.
- Lightweight flooring.
- Joint-free.
The solution
For requirements of this kind, the Byond technical team always recommends the Zoruflex Decor Continuo system because it more than meets all the requirements specified by the project supervision team. This enabled us to achieve seamless flooring (joint-free), with certified resistance to vehicular traffic (Durable), as its wearing course contains pure white quartz (Decorative), which is highly resistant to wear. Another reason for choosing this flooring was that it weighs just 4 kg/m2 (4 mm), so it does not overload the structural slab.
