The work carried out

Complete refurbishment of the outdoor car park at Centro Comercial La Ballena using the patented Zoruflex® system.

The problem

The surfacing of the outdoor car park at Centro Comercial La Ballena had cracks that caused leaks into the Carrefour hypermarket and led to damp in the building structure, which would seriously affect it in the future and also posed a danger to pedestrians parking their vehicles in the area.

As a result, the shopping centre management approached us, having previously used a traditional polyurethane waterproofing system that stopped working after three years, and we installed a test area for them. After observing that the test area appeared unaffected by the passage of time (6 years), the management decided to install a second test area in 2020, the report on which you can download by clicking here. After confirming that this system was the ideal choice, the decision was made to proceed with the project.
