Cordial Mogán Playa splash park

This is a private project. Decorative surfacing for a water park that meets the necessary safety requirements and the specified construction schedule.

  The problem

The property owner wanted decorative surfacing that could meet the demands of its intended use (a water park) and provide a balance between aesthetics, safety and price. The work involved preparing the existing substrate (concrete slab) before applying the surfacing.

  The solution

The Zoruflex® system met all the requirements. As the project is a water park, the engineering department opted to use the Zoruflex® Imperdecor system, comprising a waterproofing layer and a finishing layer. With this system, we achieved:

• Excellent resistance to chemical agents (chlorine).
• Fully flexible, with no cracking.
• Any desired slip-resistance rating can be achieved.
