Byond Microgranito is a new flooring concept created by Byond, a perfect choice for achieving a finish with an exclusive design and unique properties.
It is easy to apply and allows rapid return to service, retaining a distinctive design character, with thermal and acoustic insulation properties.
Byond Microgranito technology conforms seamlessly to the substrate, even on substrates with a slight slope and/or unevenness, achieving a visually uniform finish. It is fully adaptable to any setting or substrate, in new builds or refurbishment projects, accommodating any thickness in a single layer with perfect cohesion.
We have a Microgranito catalogue available.
Quick and easy
A unique flooring system and product. Our system opens up a wide range of exclusive possibilities thanks to its distinctive aesthetic value and quick, easy application. It is the result of an extensive R&D and innovation study by highly qualified professionals with first-hand knowledge of the needs, demands and specific characteristics of today's and tomorrow's market.
Byond Microgranito is supplied as a kit of pre-measured containers in the correct ratio, ready for use, making preparation easier and eliminating any potential errors.
Pour all of part B into the container of part A.
Do not mix manually. Mix with a low-speed electric mixer (300 - 400 r.p.m.) for at least 4 minutes. It is important to move the mixing paddle along the sides and bottom of the container to ensure thorough, homogeneous mixing. The paddles must always remain submerged in the mixture to avoid introducing air.
After mixing, apply Byond Microgranito to the previously prepared substrate using a notched trowel.
The notch size can be selected according to the required thickness without exceeding the maximum recommended rate. Then use a steel spiked roller to remove entrapped air.
The material's curing time is influenced by the ambient, material and substrate temperatures. Chemical reactions in the material may extend its working time. Similarly, low ambient temperatures may prolong the curing time. High temperatures may accelerate chemical reactions, significantly shortening these times.
After application, the material must be protected from direct contact with water for at least 18 hours (20º). Contact with water during this period may affect its appearance.
Use purpose-made moulds to produce SKIRTINGS. These can be manufactured either on site or beforehand in a workshop.
A thixotropic additive can be added to form coving.
